Smiles ~

Declan has been full of smiles now. I finally captured one.  I couldn't love this little man more!

Working Hard ~

Nothing better than helping Dad take apart a toy car that no longer works. 

Brotherly Love ~

Odin loves holding his brother Declan. He can even soothe his brother while he's crying just by saying "it's ok", "it's ok".  Melts my heart!

Sleep Baby Sleep ~

For a third night in a row Declan (5 weeks old) has slept 6 consecutive hours. I'm hoping this is the beginning of something beautiful ~ momma feels so good when this happens!

What's wrong with this picture?

Odin was being helpful and got Corrigan into her swimsuit. However, the top is a 12 month shirt which is clearly too small along with her 6-9 month bottoms which are slightly too big!  (A good reminder that I need to organize her clothes again)

Kite Flying Fun ~

If you don't know, Mankato is known as the "windy city"...well not really, but since I've lived here I call it that.  There are not too many days that the wind doesn't blow ~ so we took advantage of it and went out to fly some kites.  It was a blast!  I've never seen so many smiles from the kids.

 Corrigan had fun watching her brothers fly their kites until she spotted the playground...then the tears fell because I wouldn't let her go over to the slide until she put her shoes on.  After much debate, mostly by me, she finally put her shoes on!

 There was actually a time that Odin had so much string out that we

could hardly see the kite in the sky.

Quinn ran and ran and ran with his kite ~ loved seeing him have so much fun!

Declan Leo (part 2) ~

Declan Leo ~ our newest addition ~

We are excited to announce that Declan Leo blessed us with his arrival as scheduled on June 10th.  He has brought so much happiness into our home ~ the other 3 kids couldn't love him more.  He receives more hugs and kisses from his siblings than I can count in a day.  I am adjusting to sleepless nights but most certainly can't complain since I only get up one time a night now.  Yesterday Declan was already 1 month old ~ where does the time go?  I know my baby won't be a baby forever so I'm enjoying every minute I am with him.  Once again our Heavenly Father has blessed us with more than we deserve.
